Our main website address is: https://near-fest.com. These sites are operated by the New England Amateur Festival, Inc (NEAR-Fest). NEAR-Fest is a US-based 501(c)(3) organization that operates a “Hamfest” twice a year at the Deerfield, New Hampshire fairgrounds. See https://near-fest.com/about-near-fest/ for more information. This web site, https://tickets.near-fest.com provides the ability for vendors, exhibitors and Non-Profit entities to request allocation of spaces, rental items and other services we provide as part of operation of the event.

Comments

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

How we protect your data

This site uses industry standard techniques to protect your privacy, including SSL (secure socket layer) encryption of data passing between our servers and your computer. Any financial transactions such as payments for items on our site are processed by Paypal via integration with our checkout process. The only information about these transactions we keep on our site is the amount paid, whether the transaction was successful or not, and a transaction number. No bank account or credit card information is stored at this site.
